Marquise Brown got in trouble with the law earlier this week when he was arrested and charged with criminal speeding on Wednesday. He was reportedly going 126 MPH in a 65-MPH zone.
It's unclear if the Arizona Cardinals will have any sort of punishment for "Hollywood" Brown, who's expected to be a focal point of the team's offense this upcoming season. But one thing's for sure - head coach Kliff Kingsbury isn't happy.
In speaking with reporters this Thursday morning, Kinsbury had a blunt message for Brown.
“He knows he needs to be better than that,” Kingsbury said, via Paul Calvisi of Arizona Sports 98.7.
A bit cliché, but definitely valid. Marquise Brown has to be smarter or else he puts his team in jeopardy.
Brown is also dealing with a hamstring injury at this time. But he's expected to re-join the team at training camp next Monday.
