Some people just move on quicker than others.
It's going to be weird not seeing Clay Matthews suit up for the Packers this season, but fans will still be able to see his number out there.
Matthews signed with the Rams this offseason so the Packers had to move on and fill some holes in the NFL Draft. Green Bay selected Michigan's Rashan Gary and photoshopped a picture of him wearing Matthews' iconic number 52. That's when the former Green Bay linebacker decided to step in with a hilarious comment.

Matthews' response seemed light-hearted but the legions of Packers fans took a bit more seriously.
It’s disrespectful of the Packers to have someone in 52 this season. Should’ve been unused for a year in honor of Clay. Kind of obtuse of Gary to wear 52, but it doesn’t surprise me. #MyThreeCents— Jason Fielder (@JasonFielderTV) April 29, 2019
Show some respect to 52.— OneEyedWiilly (@OneEyedWillly) April 29, 2019
It’s crazy! I feel like we’re doing Clay dirty!— TattedGriffin ð (@TattedGriffin) April 29, 2019
Fans always seem to be a little more hurt than the actual players.
