A major name popped up on the Dallas Cowboys' injury report in advance of their matchup with the Chicago Bears.
Do-everything defensive star Micah Parsons was listed as a limited participant in the team's Thursday practice, according to Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News.
Parsons is apparently dealing with a shoulder injury.
"Cowboys LB Micah Parsons (shoulder) was an addition to injury report, listed as limited participant," Gehlken tweeted. "DE Sam Williams (knee) also added; he didn’t practice at all. RB Ezekiel Elliott (knee), WR Noah Brown (foot) and S Malik Hooker (hamstring) the other non-participants."
If Parsons is unable to suit up Sunday, it would represent a major loss for the Cowboys. The reigning NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year has 32 tackles and eight sacks through seven games this season.
As a team, the Cowboys lead the NFL in sacks with 29, five more than the next-closest squad.
Parsons is not the only key Cowboys defender dealing with an injury. Safety Malik Hooker (hamstring) and defensive end Sam Williams (knee) both missed practice Thursday.
The Cowboys could also be without star running back Ezekiel Elliott against the Bears. Elliott has yet to practice this week due to a knee injury.
