Last week, a video of Trevon Diggs getting beat badly by a fifth-round wide receiver in a one-on-one drill went viral. The Dallas Cowboys star then went and deleted his Twitter account.
It was a surprising move by the young star, leading many to criticize Diggs for not being able to accept criticism. However, others have praised him for leaving the platform to focus in on his mental health.
Diggs has two words to explain why he deleted his Twitter: "It's toxic."
He's not wrong. Social media can be a pretty awful place at times. And it's never a bad thing to leave it behind to focus on your occupation.
Trevon Diggs is clearly focused on the 2022 season and doesn't want Twitter to be a negative distraction for him.
The Cowboys begin the 2022 season on Sept. 11 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
