The excitement has built up to a fever pitch, and Thursday’s first game of the NFL regular season provided more than enough storyline, excitement and of course some fantasy stars continued their dominance. Thankfully come Sunday there will be so much football action it will quench your appetite for at least another week.

Sunday will also mark one of the biggest and most entertaining weeks in Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS). There are million dollar contests galore on all the major sites, and there will be more players trying the game for the first time, as well as the seasoned veterans who have been drooling since player prices dropped a month or so ago.

So what if you aren’t familiar with DFS but want to give it a try? If you feel overwhelmed or scared to try it, fear not. I will be guiding you all season long with weekly picks, as well as some lineups for the two major contests. That is right, I am here to help you win, and hopefully win every week. I can’t guarantee winning, but will do my best to get you there.

If you need some advice on how to get acquainted with this addicting and awesome addition to the fantasy football world, be sure to check out my "5 Tips to Help you Dominate your Fantasy Draft" or my introduction to DFS.

Ok, enough banter let’s get to the juicy stuff and start winning some cash! As a heads up this post will be aimed primarily at DraftDay.com and DraftKings.com, but many of the picks will coincide or work on FanDuel.

Both of these sites have you build lineups within a set budget and although you are encouraged to try not to leave money on the table it will happen occasionally.

Draft Day Lineups: 1-QB, 2-RB, 2-WR, 1-TE, 2-Flex and a DST

Draft Kings Lineups: 1-QB, 2-RB, 3-WR, 1-TE, 1-Flex and a DST

DFS Plays for Week 1

Quarterbacks

Sam Bradford, Philadelphia Eagles @ Atlanta Falcons (DK: $6,900 / DD: $14,800)

Bradford’s camp was very good, and the Eagles' offense should be potent once again this year. His grasp of the fast-paced offense is reassuring and this matchup is as juicy as it gets. Bradford’s price will not remain this low for long. Take advantage.

Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers @ Chicago Bears (DK: $8,600 / DD: $20,200)

Rodgers should need no explanation for using. He is as safe as they come and faces about as weak of a secondary as you can imagine in the league this week. No Jordy Nelson, no worries, as he has plenty of weapons and an additional value pick this week in Davante Adams. Use him in cash lineups for that added security.

Running Backs

DeMarco Murray, Philadelphia Eagles @ Atlanta Falcons (DK: $6,700 / DD: $ 14,450)

Murray was the top back in 2014 with a bullet for the Cowboys. He is now on a new team with a high-powered offense, and another solid offensive line. He will not be getting anywhere the same amount of carries in Philadelphia, but he will still be productive. His price is very fair for the likely output you should get.

Lamar Miller, Miami Dolphins @ Washington Redskins  (DK:$5,500 / DD: $12,750)

Recommended Articles

Miller was fantastic in 2014 and he should be just fine in '15 as well with more work likely coming. Averaging 5.1 yards a carry was great and this week he gets a disheveled Washington team. Great value.

Wide Receivers

Allen Robinson, Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Carolina Panthers (DK: $5,400 / DD:$9,800)

Robinson is a considerably discounted WR1 and although the Panthers have a legitimate defense, the top rated one in Week 1 for me at least, the Jaguars will be passing the ball plenty and young quarterback Blake Bortles appears to have made strides in a season.

Davante Adams, Green Bay Packers @ Chicago Bears (DK: $4,400 / DD: $11,450)

Adams has vaulted up rankings, draftboards due to Jordy Nelson’s unfortunate season-ending injury. Rodgers spreads the ball around plenty, but Adams value has catapulted as the newly appointed No. 2 in Green Bay. He will not be this cheap for long.

Odell Beckham Jr., New York Giants @ Dallas Cowboys (DK: $ 9,200 / DD: $16,500)

Beckham is a stud, and he will step up in Week 1 without a doubt against division rival Dallas. Both teams will be chucking the ball plenty, and that is a very, very good thing in fantasy. Beckham will produce. Will he dominate? We shall see, I am banking on it.

Tight Ends

Kyle Rudolph, Minnesota Vikings @ San Francisco 49ers (DK: $3,500 / DD: $ 6,650)

Rudolph is a legitimate red-zone threat, and has all the talent to be a top-tier player. He has been plagued with injuries his entire career, but for now he is healthy and with more connection with Teddy Bridgewater this Week could be one of his best matchups in his career.

DST

Philadelphia Eagles @ Atlanta Falcons

This game is poised to be a high-scoring affair, and the Eagles have a very opportunistic defense. Turnovers may not come easy from Matt Ryan, but if newly appointed starting running back Tevin Coleman struggles or loses the ball the Eagles will be there to pounce on it.

Draft Kings Final Lineup (Cash and GPP Contests)

Draft Day Final Lineups

Cash Game (50/50 and H2H games)

GPP Lineup (Tourney's)

Good luck everyone in Week 1 and stay tuned for more posts next week!
