Look: Arizona Cardinals Announce Significant Update On DeAndre Hopkins

DeAndre Hopkins, Arizona Cardinals

Following a 2-4 start to the 2022 season the Cardinals of Arizona need help now more than ever. Luckily, that help is on the way.

Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is returning from his suspension he served to start the year.

The Cardinals announced just moments ago that Hopkins has been re-added to the team's 53-man roster.

He will be eligible to play this Thursday night vs. the Saints of New Orleans.

"We have activated WR DeAndre Hopkins to the 53-man roster and have released K Matt Ammendola," the team announced.

In a resulting move, the Cardinals are releasing kicker Matt Ammendola.

DeAndre Hopkins is one of the best at his position in the NFL. He's a high-impact player and will elevate the Cardinals offense to new heights.

This comes at a good time for Arizona, which is off to an ugly 2-4 start to the 2022 season.

The Cardinals will try and get back on track this Thursday night vs. the Saints.
