When it comes to fantasy defense/special teams (DSTs) from Week 13, if you didn't have the New England Patriots, you didn't start the right one. In PPR scoring, the only RBs/WRs/TEs to outscore the Patriots DST were Corey Davis and Darren Waller. The Patriots had two defensive touchdowns and held the Chargers to zero points. Heading into Week 14, the Patriots are ranked No. 13 against the Los Angeles Rams. While defensive touchdowns are hard to predict, it also doesn't seem likely that the Rams are going to be held to zero points on Thursday night. The Patriots DST is worth hanging onto, but they do face Miami and Buffalo in the next two weeks.
For Week 14, two DSTs that fantasy owners may consider streaming include the Tennessee Titans (against the Jacksonville Jaguars) or the Carolina Panthers (against the Denver Broncos). Both of those opponents have quarterbacks that are likely to turn the ball over and aren't likely to put up a lot of points. The Seattle Seahawks take the top spot against the still-winless New York Jets. While the Jets did score points in Week 13, the Raiders DST managed three sacks, an interception, and two fumble recoveries. The Seahawks should do better than that.
