While the defense/special teams (DST) playing the New York Jets is a good one to start in fantasy, that may be harder this week with the Buffalo Bills approaching nearly 75 percent ownership. If they are available in your league, grab the Bills. Otherwise, those looking to stream a DST may need to look elsewhere. The Thursday night game between the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles might be a good bet. Both defenses are not widely owned (for good reason) and both offenses are not great. The Eagles, who were barely patching together a team as it is, are now down their two more starters in tight end Zach Ertz and running back Miles Sanders. It's hard to recommend the Giants DST, but they are No. 9 this week. The Eagles are three spots ahead of them at No. 6.
Looking back to Week 6, three teams had a defensive touchdown: the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the aforementioned Giants. Again, defensive touchdowns are hard to predict, but sometimes in looking at the matchup, you can find turnover-prone quarterbacks (Carson Wentz? Daniel Jones? Joe Flacco?) and those are the DSTs to consider. The Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts are on bye this week (along with the Miami Dolphins and Minnesota Vikings) so owners of those DSTs are going to have to look to the waiver wire. It may be worth it to gamble on Thursday night football.
Teams on bye: Baltimore, Indianapolis, Miami, Minnesota
