Denver Broncos Depth Chart

Russell Wilson, Denver Broncos

How the Broncos could line up for the 2022 season.

There's a new sheriff in town as the Denver Broncos pulled off one of the biggest trades in NFL history this offseason by acquiring Russell Wilson from Seattle. The hope is that Wilson can finally end the revolving door at quarterback that's been in effect since Peyton Manning retired after helping the team win Super Bowl 50. Wilson also will serve as the new face of the franchise with Von Miller having been traded to the eventual Super Bowl champion Rams last season and since signing with Buffalo. Wilson's arrival also will help rookie head coach Nathaniel Hackett settle into his new role. But general manager George Paton didn't give up a package of five picks (including two first-rounders) and three players for Hackett, Wilson and the rest of the team to ease into things. The expectation is that the Broncos will be a playoff team, at minimum, in 2022, a goal that won't be easy to accomplish considering the number of quality teams that reside in the AFC West alone.
