Detroit Lions Announce Crushing Injury News This Thursday

The Detroit Lions might be without two key offensive players this Sunday vs. the Patriots.

Both wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and running back D'Andre Swift did not practice this Thursday.

Typically if a player misses a Thursday practice he's not going to play on Sunday. That may once again be the case here.

The Lions might be in trouble on Sunday in New England.

For the second straight day, neither Lions’ WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) nor RB D’Andre Swift (shoulder) practiced.

The decision to rest Amon-Ra St. Brown, who's dealing with an ankle injury, and D'Andre Swift, who has a shoulder injury, may have already been made.

The Lions play the Patriots in New England this Sunday. However, the following week Detroit has a bye. It may be worth it to rest both star for two weeks instead of risking further injury.

The Lions play the Patriots on Sunday. Don't expect St. Brown or Swift to suit up.
