The Detroit Lions are bolstering their quarterback depth this Monday afternoon.

According to multiple reports, the NFC North franchise is signing veteran quarterback Josh Dobbs to its roster.

Dobbs, 27, will begin his Lions tenure on the practice squad.

"The #Lions have signed QB Josh Dobbs to their practice squad," said Ari Meirov.

The Lions start Jared Goff at the quarterback position. Nate Sudfeld is currently his backup.

Dobbs, meanwhile, was recently released by the Cleveland Browns. His release comes after Deshaun Watson was reinstated.

In the meantime, the Lions demolished the Jaguars of Jacksonville in a 40-14 blowout on Sunday. Goff had 340 yards passing with two touchdowns through the air.

Dobbs joins Goff and the rest of the quarterbacks in Detroit.
