Kerby Joseph Throws Shade at Packers TE Tucker Kraft After Lions' Win, Kraft's Pregame Comments
The Detroit Lions' secondary has been one of the best in the National Football League for quite some time, and star safety Kerby Joseph has been a big reason why.
Joseph has seven interceptions and 10 pass breakups so far this season, holding down the fort on the back end of the Lions' defense for coach Dan Campbell's team.
In the early hours of Friday morning, Joseph sounded like his usual self as he threw shade at rising Packers star and tight end Tucker Kraft following Detroit's 34-31 season sweep securing win over Green Bay at Ford Field.
Joseph was asked about Kraft after the game and delivered a typically bold response, as reported by Detroit journalist Will Burchfield.
"You talking about Mac and Cheese Kraft? Man, I don't know who that boy is. To be honest, man, people just talk crazy. I ain't worried about it."
Joseph may have been responding to Kraft's recent comments during which he called Joseph "a dangerous player."
"He can flip games. He's a good DB," Kraft said prior to Thursday's game.
"I might not agree with some of the places he likes to lay contact. He's taken some of my brothers out of the game, and I think about that, too. So if I get a chance to get my hands on him, you know, playing football."
Kraft recorded three catches for 41 yards and a touchdown on Thursday but was outshined by his counterpart Sam LaPorta of Detroit, who had five catches for 54 yards as Detroit ultimately got the win.
The Packers will try to rebound next week against Mike Macdonald and the Seattle Seahawks on the road while the Lions will welcome Josh Allen and the AFC East leading Buffalo Bills to Motown.
