The Packers QB is receiving a lot of negative attention lately
After Bleacher Report's piece on the difficult relationship between Aaron Rodgers and former coach Mike McCarthy, the sports media world has been buzzing.
It's been the consensus among those close to the team that egos brought down the Packers in the long run. Although most outlets say that neither Rodgers nor McCarthy are blameless in the situation, many refrain from pointing fingers at the Packers quarterback simply because of what he can do on the field.
On Friday's episode of Get Up, ESPN's Marcus Spears went in the complete opposite direction and let loose on what he thinks is the problem with Rodgers.
"Aaron Rodgers is toxic," Spears said. "If it wasn't for his talent level, we would probably have a different view and conversation about Aaron Rodgers."
Only time will tell if all this news will stop players from wanting to play in Green Bay.
