Everyone's Saying Same Thing About Watching Broncos On Primetime Again

Russell Wilson, Denver Broncos

For the fourth time in the first six weeks of the 2022 NFL season, the Denver Broncos are playing in prime time, facing the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football.

Football fans aren't thrilled.

The Broncos became a hot commodity for television executives due to the addition of quarterback Russell Wilson and the promise of an explosive offense.

Instead, Wilson and that unit have struggled mightily through the first five weeks of the season. They're averaging 15 points per game, last in the NFL, and that number drops to just 12 points in three primetime contests.

As a result, fans took to Twitter en masse to brace for another ugly game.

The Broncos bottomed out last week with a 12-9 overtime loss to the Colts on Thursday Night Football in a game that didn't feature a single touchdown.

It can't get worse than that — right?
