It is Week 1 and by now you have hopefully perused Athlon Sports' positional rankings, and other strategy articles but here is another resource for you — Top 150 Flex rankings. Rankings are relatively self-explanatory and our positional rankings do just that — they rank each individual position for each week.
Every week is different, and every situation and game plan will be different so there will clearly be players ranked higher some weeks than others. The difficulty I have found, and the most common question prior to Thursday's or Sunday's kickoff time is this: "Who do I start in my Flex position <Insert Player A> OR <Insert Player B>."
Often times positional rankings will cover this, but what if the owner is deciding between a running back or a wide receiver, or heck maybe even a second tight end is in the mix? This will not be easily answered in positional rankings every week, and overall preseason rankings are not often updated, nor accurate for particular fantasy week.
That is where Athlon's fantasy contributors come in and will provide you not only with the fantastically useful positional rankings each week, but also a Top 150 Flex rankings to help you decide some of those trickier start/sit situations.
