Fantasy Football Cheat Sheet: Flex Rankings Week 13
Flex rankings for Week 13, which may be the most critical week for many fantasy owners, are slightly important. Who am I kidding? I am nervous making these as I write this and will definitely be making changes to these leading up to game time on Sunday.
If you lost a player like A.J. Green, got a player back like Sammy Watkins (who’s having soreness issues with his foot again), or have a running back who has been great most of the season but this week is in a very tough matchup and with no offensive line (Jay Ajayi), what do you do? You can’t make rash decisions if you need a win, but maybe you have a few key positional questions this week for your flex spot or possibly your WR2/3 positions.
Whatever it is, I say go with your gut. The motto of play your studs more often than not pays off, but sometimes you may just have a feeling. It is your team, your destiny and only you can decide.
If you make a gutsy call and your stud blows up on your bench you will feel moronic. If you play your stud and someone else on your roster takes advantage of a great matchup and explodes, you get to tell yourself, “I knew I should have played him!” So it’s a pick-your-poison kind of situation, although the stakes are probably higher this week.
Hopefully your lineups are locked and ready for a championship run, but if not I am here to help with this week’s flex rankings. Again, I will be updating these so be sure to stay tuned.
