There are six teams on bye in Week 8, which means there are plenty of big, big shoes to fill when it comes to the all-important flex position in your fantasy lineup. At wide receiver alone, there is no Antonio Brown or Odell Beckham Jr. at their owners’ disposal this week.
Running back also is missing some big hitters in the form of Le’Veon Bell, Todd Gurley, Carlos Hyde and a new entry to this category, Jay Ajayi. We also heard on Wednesday that C.J. Anderson’s knee injury that he sustained on Monday night may be more serious than originally thought.
Although Anderson finished the game in splendid fashion, it is officially one of the most hyped players entering this season time to shine. Devontae Booker should be skyrocketing up rankings, and if you are somehow in a league where he is still available? Well, spend, spend, spend and get him. This kid is the real deal folks.
There are plenty more lineup spots that will more than likely be open and tough decisions will need to be made this week. Good luck to everyone this week and as always stay tuned to AthlonSports.com for any last-minute changes to the positional rankings prior to kickoff.
Teams on bye: Baltimore, Los Angeles, Miami, New York Giants, Pittsburgh, San Francisco
