Christian McCaffrey: Flex Rankings Week 14

Tyreek Hill, Kansas City Chiefs

Here are the Week 14 flex rankings as the fantasy playoffs are upon us. You have made it this far and whether it was a great draft, some killer trades, or some amazing waiver wire adds you are in and now the key is to keep winning.

I wish I could promise that these rankings will guarantee a W, but I simply can’t do that. In fact, no one is able to, but hopefully these and the other positional rankings at will help you with any tough lineup decisions you are facing. Perhaps they will boost your confidence if your players are ranked high.

From a flex perspective, Alvin Kamara has been playing out of his mind lately and sits just behind Le’Veon Bell, who is already an undisputed stud. The wide receivers who are considered elite (see WR rankings) are all in solid matchups and should make you feel comfortable if you have them in your lineups as well.

Devonta Freeman is back and although he wasn’t able to do much against a stout Vikings defense, he showed flashes and minimal rust. A full strength Freeman should be more successful against the Saints on Thursday night.

I am considering moving Kareem Hunt down the rankings even further and may do that as he has done nothing but disappoint since bursting on the scene early. However, Andy Reid giving up play-calling duties could result in more of an emphasis on Hunt, Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce in the Chiefs’ game plan against Oakland.

Christian McCaffrey, who has become a must-start over the past few weeks, is a risky proposition facing the same Minnesota defense that has not been kind to playmakers (see Atlanta last week). You may have no choice but to play him, but beware!
