Flex rankings for fantasy football are back for the Week 4 slate and there’s a new king of the mountain in Kansas City running back Kareem Hunt. He has played a total of three NFL games to this point but he’s shown that for now he is the most explosive and productive offensive weapon in the league.
On the wide receiver front, Jordy Nelson has a dream matchup with Chicago awaiting him on Thursday night with A.J. Green (vs. Cleveland) and Odell Beckham Jr. (vs. Tampa Bay) also facing vulnerable secondaries. Besides Nelson (and DaVante Adams), the prospect of facing the Bears’ defense also makes guys like tight end Martellus Bennett and even reserve wideout Geronimo Allison appealing for this week, especially if Randall Cobb misses another game.
And there are other injuries worth watching, such as Jay Ajayi’s knee. And what about a guy like Joe Mixon, someone who was probably drafted pretty high but has yet to do much. Is this the week you should trust him because of his matchup against Cleveland?
There are plenty of moving parts when it comes to flex rankings, so be sure to check back for changes leading up to game time. Remember, these rankings probably won’t help when it comes to your studs, since you are probably starting them regardless of the matchup. But maybe these rankings can help you sort out a particular position or determine which player to go with if you have three guys and just one spot in your lineup left to fill.
