Week 8 is a doozy folks, and the fantasyflex rankings return to help guide you through a big bye week. Ezekiel Elliott is back for Week 8 and looking to match or come close to his massive Week 7 performance (147 rushing yards, 72 receiving, 3 total TDs). Antonio Brown continues to remain the top wide receiver in the game with a bullet, with teammate Le’Veon Bell is atop the flex rankings overall.
Six teams are on bye, so flex rankings will likely come into play more than most weeks have this season. Many of the top plays each week remain, and they will be must-starts either way.
However mid-level ranking questions remain. Is Dion Lewis a must-start now (13 carries for 76 yards in Week 7)? Can you really trust a New England running back once again? This week I have him at 47th, but this could change before game time. Is Christian McCaffrey a must-start in non-PPR leagues? Kenny Stills had a nice Week 7 performance (6 catches, 85 yards, 2 TDs), and is poised for another breaking into my top 50. This makes him a great bye week fill-in, so see if’s he still on your league’s waiver wire.
Is Kendall Wright making a strong connection with rookie QB Mitch Trubisky? This week I think he does, which makes Wright a strong flex, WR3/4 play.
There will be plenty of tweaking this week up until kickoffs, so stay tuned. And don’t forget about the early Sunday (9:30 a.m. ET) game in London featuring my beloved Vikings.
Teams on bye: Arizona, Green Bay, Jacksonville, Los Angeles Rams, New York Giants, Tennessee
