Former Eagles Star Has Blunt Message On Philadelphia Sports Fans

Philadelphia Eagles fans don't normally need any extra motivation to bring it on game day.

However, after hearing what their former left tackle Jason Peters had to say about them Wednesday afternoon, you can be sure they will be fired up this Sunday.

"I just know the Philly fans are f------ idiots when it comes to camaraderie, the Cowboys — any team really....They know that. They pride themselves on being nasty, vulgar. They're going to cuss at you....Philly fans are the wildest fans out there to me," Peters told the media Wednesday.

Peters is playing in his 18th NFL season this year. The left tackle started his career with the Buffalo Bills in 2004 before moving to Philly, where he played until 2020.

Now with the Cowboys, Peters, age 40, has 9 Pro Bowl selections and has been twice named to the AP First Team as an All Pro.

Peters and the 4-1 Cowboys will take on the 5-0 Eagles Sunday in an NFC East matchup that's sure to provide some fireworks.
