Former NFL Star Antonio Brown Names His 'Biggest Regret'

Fantasy Football 5 Up, 5 Down: Antonio Brown

Antonio Brown.

For a while now football fans have known Antonio Brown's NFL career is over. It appears the former NFL star is just now coming to that realization.

Brown released a statement on Twitter this Thursday afternoon to name the "biggest regret" he has. The regret is that he never got the opportunity to watch himself play football live.

He also compares watching Antonio Brown play football to watching the Beatles or Jesus perform at Red Rocks - a famous amphitheater venue in Colorado. Okay then.

"My biggest regret in my career doesn't involve calling my GM a 'cracker', or showing up to Raiders camp later in a hot air balloon with frozen feet, or throwing rocks at that UPS driver, and it definitely doesn't involve taking my shirt off and doing a victory lap around the Jets' stadium mid game while throwing up deuces," he said. "My biggest regret is that I'll never get to see me, Antonio Brown, play a game live. Sure, I can watch the game afterwards, but I can't imagine what that was like for you all to see something like that. Like watching the Beatles or Jesus perform at Red Rocks."

The last time Antonio Brown was on a football field he threw his pads off and stormed off the field during the Buccaneers-Jets game during the 2021 season.

The good news is this all appears to be a joke. Brown took a "fake quote meme" and made it his own.

"Antonio Brown took a fake quote meme that was being attributed to him (it's a Kanye quote) and made it his own. This is incredible," said Aaron Oster.

Hopefully AB eventually provides some clarification here.
