Green Bay Packers Are Releasing A Veteran Wide Receiver This Tuesday

The Green Bay Packers are making a roster decision this Tuesday afternoon. The NFC North franchise is releasing a veteran wide receiver. That player is Travis Fulgham.

The Packers are releasing veteran wide receiver Travis Fulgham from their practice squad this Tuesday afternoon. The 27-year-old is now a free agent and should soon find a new home.

"The #Packers have released WR Travis Fulgham from the practice squad," said Ari Meirov.

The move is being made after the Packers added DQ Thomas to the practice squad. With no other roster space, Green Bay needs to cut Travis Fulgham to make room.

"With the addition of DQ Thomas to the practice squad, a corresponding cut will have to be made," said Paul Bretl.

The Packers, meanwhile, got their first win of the season last Sunday vs. the Chicago Bears. Aaron Rodgers had 234 yards passing with two touchdowns in a 27-10 win.

Green Bay will try and make it two straight this Sunday vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
