Erin Andrews Shouts out 'Baller' Packers Star Josh Jacobs
It was a good week for Packers star Josh Jacobs, who, perhaps, gets a bit lost in the shuffle of star running backs who changed teams this year, as the Ravens' Derrick Henry and the Eagles' Saquon Barkley have dominated ball-carrier discussions.
Those two are leading the NFL in rushing yards, but Jacobs is third, with 944, and is coming off a week in which he put up 106 yards with three touchdowns, his seventh on the year.
After the Packers' 38-10 win over the Niners last Sunday, Jacobs spoke with Fox Sports' Erin Andrews, and left an impression.
Speaking on her "Calm Down" podcast with Charissa Thompson, Andrews gave Jacobs props for his big day.
"He made a lot of himself coming from a really tough background. Those are the stories we all love," Andrews said. "People we love to cheer for, the stories you love to read as you're prepping for these guys. Gorgeous smile. Seems like a great dude. Talking to Jordan Love and Matt LaFleur, they (expletive) love this guy."
Jacobs has stepped in seamlessly in place of longtime Packers fan-favorite Aaron Jones.
"Josh Jacobs is a (expletive) baller," Andrews said. "Those guys say that when he is going up against defenders, he talks more (expletive) than anyone. ... What a cool story for him, to come from Vegas, and Vegas is Vegas, but Green Bay is the royalty part, the upper echelon of the NFL. To come there and fill in for Aaron Jones, and pick up right where he left off and do other things as well, it's amazing. I am so happy for him. Great dude."
