C.J. Stroud Getting Praised for What He Did Before Texans-Chargers

Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud caught the attention of many with his gesture ahead of their Wild Card showdown with the Los Angeles Chargers.

As the Texans prepare for their Saturday clash, cameras captured Stroud's exchange with his mom, Kimberly, and older sister, Ciara. The three took a moment to pray together before the big game, all while holding each other's hands.

The NFL posted a clip of the beautiful interaction, writing in the caption, "C.J. Stroud found his mom and sister for a pregame prayer."

Sure enough, the clip had fans buzzing, with many sharing how much they loved the pregame prayer.

"Love this," a commenter wrote. Another one said, "I need a MOG like him fr."

"We need to appreciate and respect this kind of behavior more," a supporter added.

"To God Be The Glory," a follower commented.

A fifth fan shared, "Family that prays together, stays together."

"On and off the field #leadership," a poster further stated, referring to Stroud.

C.J. Stroud is a devout Christian who has expressed his faith both on and off the field. In fact, during his rookie season when he was being mentioned in the MVP conversation, Stroud directed all the praise to God.

"For me, it’s a lot of prayer," Stroud shared, per FOX News. "A lot of knowing that God wouldn’t put anything on me that I can’t handle. I don’t deserve His grace and His mercy, but He still gives it to me, and I love Him for that. It’s not about me, it’s about Him and His glory. So, I think that’s where it comes from. I think God made me like that."

It's definitely awesome to see the Texans QB continue to show his faith and inspire his fellow Christians.
