Thanksgiving Day and the NFL have long been a holiday tradition.  In fact, on Thanksgiving 1925, a crowd of 36,000—the largest in professional football history at that time—watched the Chicago Bears play the Chicago Cardinals to a tie at Wrigley Field. Flash forward to 2017 and the league is serving up a tripleheader.
