The Indianapolis Colts are reportedly getting good news on star running back Jonathan Taylor this Monday afternoon.
Taylor hurt his ankle during the Colts' 24-17 loss to the Tennessee Titans yesterday.
Fortunately, it doesn't sound like the NFL star is going to miss much time, if any at all.
Taylor has underwent tests on his ankle. Those tests have come back negative.
"Tests on Colts’ RB Jonathan Taylor’s ankle were negative and he has a chance to play Thursday night vs. Denver, per source," said ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Jonathan Taylor now has a chance to play this Thursday night when the Colts battle the Broncos.
Taylor is clearly the heart and soul of the Indianapolis offense. However, he's not having a ton of success on the ground this year.
In four games Taylor has 328 yards and one score on the ground. Opposing defenses are clearly keying in on the Colts running back and forcing Matt Ryan to beat them through the air.
The good news is it sounds like Taylor has a chance to play this Thursday night.
