Jaguars Officially Rule Out 21 Players For Thursday Night's Hall Of Fame Game

Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars

Football is back, folks. Tonight, the Jacksonville Jaguars battle the Las Vegas Raiders in the annual Hall of Fame Game. Unfortunately, we won't see many of Jacksonville's stars out on the field.

The Jaguars announced just moments ago that they've ruled out 21 players for tonight's preseason kickoff. The list includes big names like Trevor Lawrence, Travis Etienne, Cam Robinson and Christian Kirk.

Doug Pederson clearly doesn't want to take any risks in the first preseason game of 2022.

The full list of Jaguars' inactive players includes: Travis Etienne, C.J. Beathard, Zay Jones, Laviska Shenault Jr., Marvin Jones Jr., Christian Kirk, Trevor Lawrence, Evan Engram, Darious Williams, James Robinson, Devin Lloyd, Jamal Agnew, Josh Allen, Foyesade Oluokun, Brandon Scherff, Tyler Shatley, Cam Robinson, Jawaan Taylor, Chris Manhertz, Malcolm Brown and Folorunso Fatukasi.

Hopefully we get some good football this evening. However, it's going to be mostly backups on the field tonight in Canton.

The first preseason game of 2022 kicks off at 8 p.m. ET.
