The Jacksonville Jaguars made a notable roster move this Tuesday. The AFC South franchise waived a reserve quarterback and signed another one.
The Jaguars have reportedly released backup quarterback Kyle Sloter. The team signed Sloter a month ago.
In a resulting move, the team has signed quarterback EJ Perry. He was waived by the team a month ago.
The Jaguars clearly changed their mind after making the opposite roster moves last month.
Sloter signed with the Jaguars following a nice season in the USFL. He had 1,798 yards passing with nine touchdowns while playing for the New Orleans Breakers.
The Jaguars' quarterback room, meanwhile, now features Trevor Lawrence, C.J. Beathard, Jake Luton and EJ Perry.
