New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones appeared to make a dirty play on Monday Night Football, attempting to kick Chicago Bears safety Jaquan Brisker while sliding at the end of a run.
But Brisker wound up getting the last laugh.
Early in the second quarter, Jones scrambled for eight yards. At the end of the play, he lifted his right cleat into the air in what appeared to be a clear attempt to kick Brisker, ultimately making contact in the forbidden zone.
Thankfully, Brisker recovered. But the video is going viral.
In fact, three plays later, he intercepted a Jones pass.

Jones might well face repercussions from the NFL for the play. Two weeks ago, former Patriot Tom Brady was fined more than $11,000 for attempting to kick Atlanta Falcons defensive lineman Grady Jarrett.
But he also may face more immediate consequences in the loss of his starting spot.
Jones was replaced by fourth-round rookie Bailey Zappe on the following possession. Zappe, who led the Patriots to wins while starting in place of the injured Jones each of the past two weeks, proceeded to lead two consecutive touchdown drives.
