If there was any doubt, the New York Jets have confirmed that rookie running back Breece Hall is done for the rest of the year.
The Jets officially placed Hall on injured reserve on Tuesday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Hall's promising first season came to an end on Sunday when he suffered a torn ACL against the Denver Broncos.

Sunday was a brutal injury day for the Jets, who also lost starting offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker to a triceps injury. The Jets placed Vera-Tucker on injured reserve Tuesday, as well.
Hall scored touchdown in each of the final four games he played and racked up 390 scrimmage yards across the last three.
The Jets showed aggressiveness in replacing Hall, sending a sixth-round draft pick to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for James Robinson. Robinson should split the tailback reps with Michael Carter in Hall's absence.
Here's hoping Hall makes a speedy recovery and can return to his pre-injury form next season.
