Jimmy Garoppolo and the San Francisco 49ers are spending this week out in West Virginia.
The NFC West franchise is practicing there ahead of its game against the Falcons in Atlanta on Sunday.
Garoppolo, 30, revealed this Thursday afternoon that he's spending most of his time out in the Mountain State watching film and hitting up the casinos.
Via David Lombardi, "Jimmy Garoppolo on how he's spent his time in West Virginia: 'Watched film, went to the casino a little bit. That's about it. Exciting stuff.'"
Spoken like a true franchise quarterback.
Jimmy Garoppolo has been playing better than ever since re-taking the starting quarterback gig in San Francisco following Trey Lance's season-ending injury. The team is 3-2 and sits atop the NFC West standings following its latest win over the Rams.
It's worth pointing out San Francisco isn't even at full strength health-wise. Several key players are out with injuries.
Garoppolo and the Niners should still be able to come away with a win on Sunday vs. the Falcons.
