After a two-week absence, the Indianapolis Colts will get their top playmaker back on Sunday.
All-Pro running back Jonathan Taylor will not have an injury designation when the Colts face the Tennessee Titans this week, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport. Taylor missed the team's past two games due to a sprained ankle.
"#Colts RB Jonathan Taylor (ankle) and Nyheim Hines (concussion) both have no game status. They will play." -- Ian Rapoport
The Colts backfield will also get Nyheim Hines back. Hines left in the first quarter of the team's win over the Denver Broncos in Week Five due to a concussion and missed last week's game.
Getting Taylor back on the field should be a boon for the Colts. Taylor led the NFL in rushing attempts, yards and touchdowns a season ago.
Taylor's 2022 campaign hasn't quite been up to the lofty standards he established last season. He has just one 100-yard game and has scored one touchdown on the year.
But after getting two weeks to recuperate, Taylor will look to get back to his dominant ways this week.
