Week 5 is (finally) over and it is another week where kickers that are barely owned are the ones that scored the most fantasy points. Jason Sanders and Graham Gano (a combined 5 percent owned) both scored more than 20 points, depending on league scoring. Either way, they kicked a lot of field goals and rewarded the fantasy owners that started them (perhaps very deep or two-kicker leagues?). For those that actually read the introduction to the Week 5 rankings (thanks!), you may remember Jason Sanders was mentioned last week as well. For two weeks in a row, he has been a top kicker for fantasy. With four teams on bye in Week 6, and Miami facing the Jets, perhaps fantasy owners may consider grabbing Sanders to fill in this week. He's ranked No. 11.
Wil Lutz won the game for the New Orleans Saints in overtime on Monday night and he's pretty consistent. Another solid kicker to win the game for his team is Greg Zuerlein. He's ranked No. 4 for Week 6 as the Cowboys face the Cardinals on "Monday Night Football." It seems the Cowboys are continually taking games down to the wire and scoring plenty of points. Even with Andy Dalton as the starting quarterback, Zuerlein should be just fine for fantasy owners.
Teams on bye: Las Vegas, Los Angeles Chargers, New Orleans, Seattle
