Kyler Murray Has Blunt Admission On Cardinals' Season So Far

Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals are 2-4 after losing 19-9 to divisional foe Seattle this past Sunday.

Following the loss, Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray told media members that Arizona's struggles this season are reminiscent of those suffered during his rookie campaign with the team.

According to Pro Football Talk, Murray told Darren Urban, a member of the team website, that his rookie year was the last time things felt this hard in Arizona.

“Probably rookie year, that’s probably the last time shit has felt this hard,” Murray said following the loss.

The quote, which can be found on the Cardinals website, encapsulates the struggles that this 2022 Arizona team has faced thus far.

Held to under 17 points in three of six games so far this season, Arizona is hoping that a potential return of DeAndre Hopkins in Week 7 might spark what seems to be a stagnant Cardinals' offense.

Making matters worse, reports that surfaced following Sunday's loss appear to show Marquise Brown, the team leader in receptions, yards, and touchdowns, might be out for the remainder of the 2022 season with a foot injury.

Arizona will look to bounce back in Week 7 at home against the Saints.
