Las Vegas Raiders Are Signing A Veteran Wide Receiver This Friday

The Las Vegas Raiders need some depth at the wide receiver position. Fortunately, a veteran wide receiver is on the way.

The Raiders are reportedly signing a veteran wide receiver this Friday morning. That player is Albert Wilson.

Wilson, 30, played for the Dolphins of Miami in 2021. He caught 25 passes for 213 yards.

Wilson joins a wide receivers unit in Vegas that features Davante Adams, Hunter Renfrow, Mack Hollins and others.

"Raiders are signing veteran WR Albert Wilson, per sources. Wilson’s signing was confirmed by his agents, @DrewJRosenhaus and @RyanMatha," said ESPN's Adam Schefter.

A big signing by the Raiders. Albert Wilson has the talent to compete for playing time in the team's wide receivers rotation.

The Raiders, meanwhile, are just 1-3 on the season. It's an unfortunate start for the AFC West franchise. However, there's still time to get things turned around.

Vegas's next game comes on Monday night against the Chiefs of Kansas City. A win would go a long way in helping the Raiders turn a corner. A loss and the hole to climb out of gets much bigger.
