The Las Vegas Raiders were seen practicing without one of their most important offensive weapons Thursday.
After missing Wednesday's practice with an undisclosed illness, Raiders' wide receiver Davante Adams didn't appear at Las Vegas' Thursday practice, either, according to ESPN reporter Paul Gutierrez.
"No sign of #Raiders WR Davante Adams, who missed Wednesday with an illness, at start of practice Thursday. Abram and Ferrell are stretching, though," Gutierrez tweeted Thursday.
Adams, who is officially questionable for Las Vegas' Week 8 matchup with New Orleans, has yet to miss a game for the Raiders this season.
In his first year with the Raiders after being traded from the Green Bay Packers last offseason, Adams has continued to put up numbers with Las Vegas which rank him among the league's best receivers.
In six games played this season, Adams has tallied 37 receptions for 509 yards and five receiving touchdowns, all of which are team-highs for Las Vegas. His receiving yardage and touchdowns in 2022 rank Adams in the top ten of all NFL receivers in both categories.
The Raiders surely hope Adams can recover from his illness in time for the team's Week 8 matchup with the New Orleans Saints this Sunday.
