LeSean McCoy spent 12 seasons in the NFL, accruing six Pro Bowl nominations and two AP First-Team All Pro selections.
Despite retiring from the NFL in 2020, the former running back is still involved with football, but now as a commentator for the FS1 show "Speak."
This afternoon, McCoy made his case as to why his former team, the Philadelphia Eagles, should be considered the best team in football this season.
"The Eagles are not just on the same level as the Bills and Chiefs, they’re No. 1," McCoy said Tuesday.
While there may be some bias behind McCoy's pick, it's hard to argue against the undefeated Eagles being the class of the NFL this season.
At 6-0, the last remaining unbeaten team in football this season sports the second-best point differential in the league (+56), behind only the Buffalo Bills (+95).
McCoy continued praising his former team, saying, "we have the most complete roster, the most complete team."
Following their Week 7 bye, Philadelphia will look to prove McCoy right as the Eagles take on the Steelers this Sunday.
