Look: Brandin Cooks Heated After Not Getting Traded On Tuesday

Brandin Cooks, Houston Texans wide receiver

A flurry of big names changed teams today as the NFL's trade deadline provided plenty of excitement for football fans.

One key name, however, is staying put with their current team.

Despite being mentioned in several possible moves, Houston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks wasn't traded today and shared his thoughts on twitter shortly after the deadline passed.

"Don’t take a man’s kindness for granted. Covered for the lies for too long those days are done. Crossed the line with playing with my career," Cooks tweeted minutes after the NFL's 4 PM EST trade deadline.

After Cooks missed practice today, trade rumors for the nine-year NFL wide receiver began to surface.

As the 4 PM EST trade deadline came and went, no deal for Cooks was made.

Cooks' cryptic tweet certainly raises questions about his future with the Texans. Based on his recent social media activity, it appears Cooks wanted to be moved to a playoff contender.

The Houston Texans will likely need to mend their relationship with Cooks before they take on the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles in Week 9.
