ESPN has become known for its creative animations during Monday Night Football.
The latest example has social media abuzz yet again.
During the first quarter of the matchup between the Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos, ESPN turned Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert into a character from the "Top Gun" movie franchise, motorcycle and all, to illustrate his prolific passing during his first three seasons.
The only problem: the character didn't actually bear much resemblance to Herbert.
Predictably, Twitter has been poking fun at the graphic.
Animation aside, the matchup between the Chargers and Broncos has at least been pretty entertaining through the first quarter and a half, much more so than the internet feared.
