Look: Russell Wilson Sends 'Happy Birthday' Message To Ciara

Russell Wilson and Ciara

Broncos' quarterback Russell Wilson missed Denver's Week 7 game against the Jets with a hamstring injury.

The ailment, however, didn't prevent Wilson from taking some time to wish his wife Ciara a happy birthday this Tuesday afternoon.

"God blessed the world on this day with you. You are the most amazing wife, mother, entertainer, and business woman. Thank you for loving me, encouraging me, and joining forces with me to do what God called us to do! That’s to LOVE & SERVE. Happy Birthday my Queen @Ciara," Wilson tweeted today.

Wilson and Ciara have been married for six years, with the two meeting for the first time at a Wisconsin basketball game in 2015. Just over a year later, they were engaged.

The couple has two children together, Sienna and Win Wilson, in addition to Future Zahir Wilburn, Ciara's son from her previous relationship with prominent recording artist Future.

While the two celebrate Ciara's birthday today, Russell Wilson is recovering from the hamstring injury that kept him out of last week's loss to the Jets.

Wilson is expected to play in Denver's Week 8 matchup with the Jaguars in London, but Broncos' coach Nathaniel Hackett hasn't fully confirmed the quarterback's availability just yet.
