The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are hosting the Baltimore Ravens tonight on Thursday Night Football.
In a first quarter which featured field goals by both teams and a one-yard touchdown plunge by Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette, the highlight of the game so far came from an unlikely source.
After a second down sack of Lamar Jackson late in the first quarter, Tampa Bay nose tackle Vita Vea went to the ground and unleashed a swimming celebration that has many NFL fans laughing tonight.
The video is going viral on Twitter.
"Vita Vea breaks through, sacks Lamar Jackson, and went for a swim on the celebration," ClutchPoints tweeted during Thursday Night Football.
Vea, who checks in at 6'4" and nearly 350 pounds, displayed excellent speed and agility in both the takedown of Jackson and the celebration.
With the sack tonight, Vea now has 4.5 on the 2022 season to go along with a forced fumble.
Additionally, the athleticism shown by Vea in the video has some fans reminiscing on his running back days back in high school.
"Never forget Vita Vea used to play running back," BostonConnr tweeted Thursday following Vea's sack celebration.
The Buccaneers currently lead the Ravens 10-3 with two minutes remaining in the first half.
