What was expected to be a special season for the Chargers has quickly turned into a nightmare, at least for now. The AFC West franchise has received awful injury news for two offensive players this Monday afternoon.
First off, talented second-year offensive tackle Rashawn Slater suffered a ruptured biceps tendon on Sunday. He will miss the rest of the season.
Slater isn't the only Chargers player who's going to miss the rest of the 2022 season.
Wide receiver Jalen Guyton tore his ACL on Sunday. He's out for the year as well.
"Another injury for the #Chargers: WR Jalen Guyton suffered a torn ACL on Sunday and is out for the season, per source. Just brutal for Guyton, the fourth-year pro who hauled in a 54-yard bomb from Justin Herbert on Sunday," Pelissero adds.
Just a brutal outcome for Justin Herbert and the Chargers. They are 1-2 to start the season and now down two key offensive players.
Not much is going right for the AFC West franchise out in Los Angeles these days.
