Justin Herbert’s Arrival for Chiefs-Chargers SNF Game Catches Attention
For Week 14's "Sunday Night Football" episode, AFC West rivals, Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs are set to square off at Arrowhead Stadium.
Hours before the matchup, Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert showed up to go through warm-ups and get ready for one of his biggest games of the year.
With these highly anticipated games, we often see players show up to the stadium in eccentric outfits, but Herbert's arrival turns heads for a different reason.
He showed up in an all-black outfit with a simple Nike hoodie, sweatpants and backpack with a hood and hat covering his face. He also avoided entertaining the cameras and swiftly walked past everyone.
Social media users couldn't help but comment on the situation.
"Hoodie justin? Oh snap he poppin off tonight," said one comment.
"This guy is all business. No funny, clothes no frosted tips. Just business," another added.
A third stated, "Oh he’s storming into the home of the enemy with purpose? It’s time…"
"Herb in all black?? it’s over," a fourth continued.
In Herbert's eight career games against the Chiefs, he's completed 65.82% of his passes for 2,182 yards, 20 total touchdowns and 6 interceptions for a 101.5 passer rating.
Those numbers tell you that he is very efficient, but they're overshadowed by the less-than-stellar 2-6 record.
