Los Angeles Rams Are Placing Veteran Cornerback On The Injured Reserve

The Los Angeles Rams defense is not going to be at full strength in the coming weeks. That's because the NFC West franchise is placing a veteran cornerback on the injured reserve. Troy Hill is that player.

The Rams are placing veteran cornerback Troy Hill on the injured reserve this Tuesday. Hill, the former Oregon star, is dealing with a groin injury. He will miss the next four games, at the least, as a result.

Hill recorded an interception in the Rams' Week 1 loss to Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills.

"The #Rams placed veteran CB Troy Hill, who had an interception in Week 1, on Injured Reserve with a groin injury. He's out at least four games," said Ari Meirov.

A significant loss for the Los Angeles defense. Hill plays an important role on the Rams defense, but will miss the next four weeks with a groin injury.

The Rams battle the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. It's a pivotal Week 3 NFC West game.
