Cooper Kupp Jokes Are Pouring In After Zero-Catch Night in Rams-49ers

The Los Angeles Rams gave their playoff chances a big shot in the arm with a 12-6 victory over the San Francisco 49ers at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara Thursday night.

However, those who watched the game merely concerned about how Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp would perform, especially fantasy football managers in the first week of their respective leagues' playoffs, are left with a feeling of utter disappointment.

Kupp entered the 49ers game with 657 receiving yards on 63 receptions in the 2024 NFL regular season and finished it with still those exact numbers, as he failed to secure any of the three passes Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford lobbed in his direction.

Jokes targeted at Kupp have also flooded social media timelines.

“Could be worse Cooper Kupp fantasy managers. Actually, no. It really couldn’t. That one is going to hurt for a long, long time. But through years of therapy and self reflection, you might be able to get back to around 80-90% of the person you were before tonight,” shared an X user.

“Fun fact: You had as many catches as Cooper Kupp tonight,” posted StatMuse.

“Any fantasy analyst that didn’t rank Cooper Kupp as the WR186 this week simply doesn’t know ball,” commented another social media user.

“Cooper Kupp when I put him in my parlay and start him in fantasy,” wrote a fan in a post that also featured an edited photo of YouTube star Jake Paul in a Rams jersey.

A different comment read: “Kupp getting that cardio in.”

The 31-year-old Kupp can still bounce back in Week 16 when the 8-6 Rams face off against the lowly New York Jets at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.
