'Majority' Of Pittsburgh Steelers Offensive Players Reportedly Want Coach Fired

The Pittsburgh Steelers' 2022 season is off to a horrendous start. The offense isn't scoring many points, the defense is dealing with multiple injuries and the team already finds itself in a 1-2 hole.

A "majority" of Steelers offensive players, as a result, want a coach fired. That coach is offensive coordinator Matt Canada.

Canada's offense feels both mundane and outdated. And now, it appears Steelers offensive players are getting impatient.

Mike Tomlin has a big decision to make in the coming weeks.

"Award winning reporter @JRown32 on @937theFan says the majority of Steelers offensive players want Matt Canada fired," said Andrew Fillipponi.

This falls in line with what players are saying about Matt Canada recently. Chase Claypool isn't even sure what the team's offensive identity is.

“I don’t know if we have an identity,” wide receiver Chase Claypool said Monday, via 93.7 The Fan.

Another poor offensive showing could result in Matt Canada losing his job.

The Steelers will try and get back on track this Sunday vs. the New York Jets.
