Matthew Stafford Has Honest Reaction To Rams Home Crowd Thursday Night

Sean McVay and Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams say that SoFi Stadium is their house. Other fan bases say otherwise. The stadium's stands were full of Buffalo Bills fans on Thursday night.

Unfortunately for the Rams, this is nothing new. Opposing fans invaded SoFi Stadium all season long last year and 2022 will not be any different, just like Thursday night.

Matthew Stafford actually admitted last night that he and the Rams have to prepare for the crowd noise in the days leading up to their home games.

"No. I mean, we prepared for it," said Stafford. "We prepared to be on the silent count at home again. But it wasn't something that we haven't done before.”

Having to play in a home stadium full of fans from the opponent is a serious disadvantage for the Los Angeles Rams. But it's simply something they'll have to deal with for the foreseeable future.

Crowd noise had nothing to do with the Rams' defeat on Thursday night, though. They were simply outmatched, outcoached and outplayed by a better Buffalo Bills team.

The Rams have a tone of of work to do.
