Matthew Stafford Is Getting Crushed For Attempting No-Look Pass Down 14 Points In 4Q

Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI

The Rams are getting taken to the woodshed by the Buffalo Bills this Thursday night. Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is getting crushed on social media, as a result.

Trailing by 14 early in the fourth quarter, Stafford attempted a no-look pass to Cooper Kupp. The pass sailed high, though, and Kupp was unable to bring it down. Bills safety Jordan Poyer was in a position to make a play and came away with the pick.

Attempting no-look passes early in a game or with a lead is perfect acceptable. Attempting no-look passes trailing by 14 in the fourth quarter isn't exactly a good idea.

"Matthew Stafford tries throwing a no look pass to Cooper Kupp and the pass is overthrown and picked by Jordan Poyer. The #Bills have a chance to close this game out with another touchdown," said Brandon Carr.

Not a good look from Matthew Stafford, who's thrown two picks in tonight's action so far. He's going to have to play cleaner football if the Rams are going to make a run back to the Super Bowl this season.

Los Angeles currently trails the Buffalo Bills 31-10 in the fourth quarter. Catch the rest of the NFL's 2022 season opener on NBC.
