Miami Dolphins Reportedly Make Decision On Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa For Thursday Night Game

Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins

Tonight, the Miami Dolphins take on the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football. The Dolphins are coming off a massive win over the Bills. However, Tua Tagovailoa walked away with an injury.

Tagovailoa, the third-year quarterback out of Alabama, is dealing with both back and ankle injuries. But it appears those injuries won't keep him out of Thursday night's game.

Tagovailoa is "expected" to start tonight when the Dolphins battle the Bengals. A big development for a Miami team off to a roaring 3-0 start to the 2022 season.

"#Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa, who is questionable for Thursday night’s game at #Bengals with back and ankle injuries, is expected to start, per league source," said Armando Salguero.

Tua Tagovailoa is off to the best start of his NFL career this season. He's completing 71.3 percent of his throws for 925 yards and eight touchdowns with two picks.

If Tagovailoa is unable to go tonight, the Dolphins are expected to go with Teddy Bridgewater. However, it doesn't appear that the AFC East franchise needs to go that route.

Tagovailoa is expected to start for the Dolphins tonight vs. the Bengals, despite dealing with back and ankle injuries.
